ADOPT A SOLDIER…
Thank-you for your interest in supporting our troops. Your support through the Soldiers letter / snack pack program is appreciated by the solders and their families. We are doing our best to keep the costs down, yet still provide quality. The cost breakdown is as follows: $60 for the snack box and $20 for the postage, which include power bars, energy bars, and nuts that often serve as breakfast or lunch for our busy soldiers when on patrol. Listed below are several ways for you or your group to connect and support our soldiers.
1. You or your group/organization/class can adopt a single solider throughout the school year and will be responsible for sending letters and/or snacks to just him/her.
2. You or your group/organization/class can support OCC by donating just the postage for mailing a soldier snack pack $20. We will take old stamps, current stamps or a monetary donation. With a monetary donation, please checks made payable to Operation Community Cares and write “soldier” on the memo line.
3. You or your group/organization/class can support OCC by donating items to be mailed (snacks, magazines, etc.), a list is below.
4. You or your group/organization/class can simply support OCC with a monetary donation, checks made payable to Operation Community Cares and please write “soldier” on the memo line. It costs $80 to fill and mail one soldier snack pack.
